Alisha co-created, hosted, and led an empowering event alongside musician Heather Evans, for women, femmes, and non-binary individuals, focused on celebrating diverse voices and connecting us all through words, creativity, and music. The evening featured performances by local musicians and poets, and ended with a panel moderated by Nicole Brommley about the boxes society places us in.
Guest Poet & Panelist, Closing Words: BPL Writer-in-Residence Celebration with Cynthia Amoah

A night of poetry and celebration of Cynthia’s time as the Writer-in-Residence at Bexley Public Library. Alisha performed a set of poems, followed by Cynthia, who performed work that she'd written during the residency. The two spent time discussing creativity, the writing process, and the importance of community.
Creator & Host - Poetry Snack Club
A place where poetry-curious people gather to picnic at a local Columbus park, eat snacks, and close-read one poem together. Created and hosted by Alisha, this is a donation based effort meant to foster a love for poetry and help other poetry-lovers connect.
